Following a £7 million investment program The Winchester Hotel is a very special venue, unique to the area. In addition to the function rooms all of our 98 air conditioned bedrooms have been completely refurbished to an executive standard.

The Malory Suite, although contemporary in design with walnut panelling and feature lighting, has been decorated in a style that reflects aspects of Winchester’s historic past. Fully air-conditioned with its own self contained bar and reception area it offers facilities for up to 160 guests.

The Chaucer Suite is decorated in natural tones consistent with all the public areas of the Hotel and is ideal for more intimate gathering of up to 50 guests.

Hutton’s Brasserie is luxurious & elegant with mushroom coloured banquettes, leather chairs, walnut floors, clever use of mirrors & lighting. Perfect for gatherings of 20 – 80 guests.

Hyde Abbey Gardens – The Perfect Backdrop

Situated just moments from the hotel, Hyde Abbey Gardens provides the perfect backdrop for your external photographs.

Hyde Abbey Gardens are a three minute walk from the hotel. Set between ancient walls & an ambling river the setting demonstrates some of the finest architecture in the city. The garden was designed by Kim Wilkie Associates, one of the foremost landscape architects in this country.

Our suite includes a seriously comfy bed, private lounge area, wall mounted plasma tv’s in lounge and bedroom, built in tv at the end of the bath & walk in shower.
