The setting of this stunning wedding ceremony and wedding reception venue is breathtaking – a 3,000 acre deer park, with grand vistas, magnificent ancient trees, beautifully maintained gardens and a peaceful lake.

The range of venues is a glorious mix of historic and modern. Since the Abbey was first opened to the public over fifty years ago, the Russell family has taken enormous pride in preserving the best of a 400-year history whilst embracing the excitement and opportunity of the new.

Woburn is sited within very easy reach of the A5 trunk road and the M1 motorway, with airports (Luton, Heathrow, East Midlands, Stanstead) between 30-90 minutes drive time away and both North London and South Birmingham also reachable by car in around an hour.

Woburn offers a choice of unique period settings for your civil ceremony or partnerships and a glorious range of options for your reception. These include elegant banqueting rooms, historic, grand and beautiful spaces like: The Sculpture Gallery – The beautiful, elegantly proportioned Sculpture Gallery was built in 1789 as the Abbey’s Orangery and has been carefully restored and converted. It overlooks the private lake and gardens of the Duke of Bedford, and The Safari Lodge – The Safari Lodge is excitingly different, very photogenic and is located at the heart of the Safari Park at Woburn.

We take great pride in our understanding of different cultural and religious requirements and are able to offer expert help with planning and catering, as well as a range of contacts for suppliers of flowers, transport, entertainment and other services.

Accommodation is available for guests at the Inn at Woburn, which offers 51 bedrooms and 7 cottages plus a superb restaurant.
