About The Vyne
Wonderful Tudor Country House rich in history.
This magnificent Estate is available for marquee wedding receptions in the historic Walled Garden, or more intimate receptions in the Tudor Brewhouse.
Wedding Ceremonies take place within the House in the Stone Gallery, a conservatory-style room, amongst ferns and classical stone sculptures.
Originally built in the early 1500s as a great Tudor “power house”, The Vyne was later occupied by the Chute Family for over 350 years, extensively altered in the mid 1600s when a prominent architect added the earliest Classical Portico to a country house in England.
Today The Vyne is a rich microcosm of changing fads and fashions over five centuries, owned by The National Trust and open to the public. It was visited by King Henry VIII on at least three occasions.
This venue is licensed for Civil Ceremonies. Ceremonies take place in the Stone Gallery.
Suitable for summer and winter weddings.
