Slaugham Place is one of the most romantic and inspiring venues in the south of England.
The spectacular, four-hundred-year-old, listed, Grade II ruins of Slaugham Place, once a grand Elizabethan manor house, have been superbly restored under the supervision of English Heritage. The ancient ruins of Slaugham Place are enclosed by twelve acres of beautiful grounds including pretty gardens, bridges, a river and wonderful old trees. Slaugham Place will make a remarkable location for any Marquee wedding.
Your wedding will be private and secluded as the original Elizabethan walls and historic ruins encircle the Marquee. Up to 150 guests can be seated for dining in the Marquee.
The tranquil moat is floodlit at night creating an air of mystery and romance to the evening. The vast breathtaking space of striking gardens and noble ruins will help create some truly unique and memorable wedding photos.
Couples are welcome to make extravagant use of the great space by arriving by helicopter perhaps or having a falconry display. The possibilities are endless.
