About Mapledurham House

This striking, late 16th century Manor House, set in peaceful surroundings alongside the river Thames, has been the residence of the Blount family and their descendants for over 500 years. The rich brickwork of the house provides a stunning backdrop for a marquee wedding, making the photographic possibilities endless. The superb grounds contain a 15th century Watermill still in working condition.

Mapledurham House has proven to be a popular location for films, with the house once being used for the set of ‘The Eagle Has Landed’ and more recently the TV series ‘Class Act’.

The marquee site faces the parkland and you will have exclusive use of this fabulous wedding venue.
