About Kirby House

A prestigious wedding reception venue in a marvellous setting -“a Stately Home in miniature”. Built in 1733, in the traditional Queen Anne style, Kirby House is surrounded by 8 acres of well-maintained beautiful gardens and 30 acres of parkland. It is located in one of the most stunning areas of the country and Kirby’s 2,000 acre estate straddles the dramatically striking South Berkshire Downs with Walbury Hill, the highest point of land in South East England, being at the centre.

Wedding receptions can be held in a marquee on the lawn behind the house. Overnight accommodation may be available in 8 luxurious, double bedrooms, each with its own individual style. Overnight accommodation is at additional cost, which is quoted separately.
