About Commonwealth Club

The Commonwealth Club in Trafalgar Square is a stunning wedding venue in London, contemporary setting in which to hold a civil ceremony and reception with a difference. The unique way in which the spaces can be used makes this an incredibly versatile venue.

Several rooms/spaces are available including The Blue Room, The Cinema Room and The Thorne Room. These can be used in a number of different ways to suit your needs.

Since the venue is modern in design, minimalist and almost “open plan" it can be misleading to specify capacities for each of the rooms. However, it is suitable for parties from 50 guests up to 220 for seated dining and up to 800 for a stand-up canapé reception.

Wooden sliding walls and a portcullis can be used to divide rooms for smaller events or to provide quiet areas and private rooms for use throughout the day and evening. Lights, projection, plants and candles are just some of the ways in which the venue can be transformed and personalised.
