About Brockhurst

Brockhurst is a magnificent, listed house set in sixty acres of beautiful, undulating gardens and parkland. Brockhurst is a licensed wedding venue for civil ceremonies for up to 60 guests in the Great Hall or up to 50 in the Drawing Room. The Great Hall seats about 90-100 guests for dining. This is a magnificent room with stained glass windows and a high beamed ceiling. In winter, open fires burn in the huge fireplace. The beautiful and ancient parish church of Marlston stands in the grounds.

In addition, the beautiful Drawing Room and Dining Room, both with open fireplaces, antique furniture and magnificent views across the gardens and parkland, are available for dining or as reception rooms.

For much larger weddings, the Memorial Hall can seat up to 250 guests. This unique venue has its own marquee lining converting the hall, in effect, into a beautiful, weatherproof indoor marquee. The balustraded terrace, overlooking the gardens and lake, is the perfect setting for a champagne reception on a summer’s day.

Larger weddings may extend the use of the house with a marquee in the grounds.
