About Belchamp Hall

Belchamp Hall offers traditional elegance for the quintessential English country wedding and has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, being very accessible from the A131 Braintree to Sudbury road. Belchamp Hall can accommodate up to 500 guests for a marquee wedding reception.

Belchamp Hall was re-built in 1770 and is one of the loveliest examples of a perfectly proportioned Queen Anne house. Set in beautiful gardens, where wedding guests may wander freely, and opposite the village church, it is a haven of peace and tranquillity. It has been the family home of the current owners for several generations and for many years the house featured as “Felsham Hall” in the BBC series “Lovejoy”.

The bridal couple may retire in the perfect way by staying in our beautiful new bridal suite, situated in the grounds of Belchamp Hall at the end of their day. All weddings are tailored to the requirements of each couple.
