About Bassmead Manor

The Rickety Barn at Bassmead Manor is a traditionally restored wedding barn, in the grounds of a small moated manor house in the heart of the beautiful Cambridgeshire countryside near St Neots. A long drive approaches this wedding reception venue, which has recently been restored using authentic materials.

The pretty gardens are perfect for a drinks reception with the half-timbered manor house, covered in climbing plants, providing the backdrop for wonderful wedding photographs.

Smaller wedding parties of up to 80 guests can dine in the barn, which can be decorated to match your wedding theme. A stunning marquee is attached to the barn where up to 140 guests may be seated for the wedding breakfast.

Weddings take place all year round apart from August, which is dedicated to haymaking.

Music can go on until midnight with guests departing by 1 am.
