About Bartholomew Barn

Bartholomew Barn is a lovely restored wedding barn in the heart of the West Sussex countryside. The cottage gardens are packed full of colourful and unusual flowers and plants, and in spring the woods behind the wedding venue are carpeted with bluebells. Bartholomew Barn is ideal for intimate wedding receptions or for larger weddings a marquee can be extended off the barn.

The barn has been fully restored using authentic materials and there is a wood burner at one end of the barn making the venue perfect for winter or summer weddings.

Up to 100 guests may dine in the barn and guests may sip champagne under the shade of giant parasols in the charming walled courtyard with ornamental fishpond. The courtyard is perfect for a barbecue or hog roast and at night is magical when decorated with flower garlands and fairy lights.

A marquee may be attached to the barn to accommodate larger guest numbers.
