Particular features of this venue are the grounds and gardens, with their ancient trees and lovely old-fashioned roses, the unusual Summer House which has a huge, stone fireplace as well as electricity and other services, and also the lake, which is a haven for wildlife with rare black swans and waterfowl. Stone steps, excellent for photographs, lead down to large, flat lawns, which are ideal for a marquee.
