The Wedding and Reception Venue

We looked at Country House Wedding Venues website and found Upwaltham Barns in our county. We loved it because it summarised what we are about. Minimal, simple but very chic.

The Decorative Touches

Room decorations – All white and minimal. Candlelights around the room.

Table centrepieces – White avalanche roses in a square glass on a round mirror plate surrounded by tealights in a glass.

The Cake

Tiers of cheese. Brie de meaux, Stilton, Y finny and pecorino with truffles and seasonal fruit.

The Transport

We hired a private chauffeur and the car was a Jaguar.

Advice to other couples

Organise your own wedding only if you are very organised… otherwise forget it!!
