Kate and Will's wedding 'may be bloomin' marvellous'

Kate and Will's wedding 'may be bloomin' marvellous' Many people in the UK may be waiting with bated breath to find out whether or not Prince William and Kate Middleton are planning to tie the knot.

Although an official announcement has not been made, the royal florist has fuelled speculation that a wedding may be on the cards by discussing the kinds of blooms the pair may have to decorate their venue.

Simon Lycett said that in his opinion, Kate and Wills are a "relatively traditional" couple and as a result, this could be reflected in their marriage decisions.

Speaking at the Home and Gardens Classic Design Awards at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the royal florist added that he thinks there will be plenty of British flowers, such as roses, delphinium and sweetpeas.

"For his father, we had 30,000 Narcissus daffodils, so if it was the spring months it would be lovely to do the same," the Telegraph quotes Mr Lycett as saying.

The couple met when they studied at the University of St Andrews, which was the first educational establishment of its kind to be established in Scotland back in 1413.
