More grooms 'using beauty products'

More grooms 'using beauty products' Many grooms may be just as keen to look good on their big day as their partners do and there are now plenty of products to help them achieve this.

Beauty writer Zara Rabinowicz, who has contributed to magazines such as She and Catwalk Queen, said that brands such as Gaultier are creating male-specific cosmetics.

"Grooming is no longer considered girly and companies are realising there's a huge market to tap into," she explained.

Some of the most useful products for grooms could be things like tinted moisturisers and lip balms, as these are "multi-tasking products" that allow men to look good on their big day "while strenuously denying it", Ms Rabinowicz continued.

Last month, a survey conducted by Sheila's Wheels home insurance revealed that ten per cent of men have used their partner's foundation or concealer to cover up dark circles and blemishes.

Many grooms may also have tidied their eyebrows before the big day, as 37 per cent admit to borrowing their other half's tweezers.
