One website has revealed some of its favourite celebrity wedding dresses of 2009 and Heidi Montag has made the top ten.

Lovetripper has released the details of the fabulous brides who filled spots six to ten in its list, with the reality TV star coming in ninth.

The gown she wore for her wedding to Spencer Pratt cost $20,000 (£12,300) and took 250 hours to make, according to the website.

Heidi was also dripping with $1 million worth of diamond jewellery from Neil Lane for her big day, which "only the bride's smile outshone", the news provider continues.

The dress was made by Monique Lhuillier and featured a silk organza skirt for the marriage, which took place in Pasadena, California.

Heidi was voted ahead of Mark Walhberg's wife Rhea Durham, who wore a Marchesa dress for her ceremony.

Earlier this week it was revealed that Heidi has penned a love poem for Spencer, featuring lines such as: "Spencer my love, my heart, my King/You are my world and my everything."
