One bride ensured that she really shone for her friends and family on her big day with a rather special wedding dress.

Lindsay Roberts had her gown wired with over 300 LED light bulbs that were turned on using a remote control during her first dance with her new husband, eLightBulbs reports.

A clip of the frock has now been put on video-sharing website YouTube and increasing numbers of women are enquiring about getting their own dazzling dresses.

One viewer said that that the frock reminded her of the yellow gown worn by Belle in Beauty and the Beast.

According to Enlighted, the firm that created the dress, the bulbs are very long-lasting, which means that it can be kept as a family heirloom.

Meanwhile, a video called JK Wedding Entrance Dance, which shows the bridesmaids and groomsmen at one wedding dancing down the aisle, has become the third most-watched clip on YouTube in 2009.
