Jessica Simpson may be the next celebrity to wander into the world of fashion design and brides everywhere could be wearing her creations, it has been revealed.

The 29-year-old singer and actress is reportedly in talks with jeweller Pascal Mouawad as she wants to create her own line of necklaces, bracelets and earrings.

Furthermore, the reality TV star also wants her collection to include wedding rings.

Speaking to Fox News, a source said that although Jessica, who was previously married to Nick Lachey, and her mother are eager to create some of the special bands for the range, Mouawad is not as keen.

"He wants to work with her, but definitely doesn't think wedding rings would be appropriate for Jessica," the insider revealed.

Last week, it was revealed that Jessica may be dating the Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan, despite a 13-year age gap between the two.
