Brides have been offered some advice on how they can get their dream dress for less when organising their perfect winter wedding.
While many may think that they need to spend a small fortune to get a beautiful gown, the Thibodaux Daily Comet explains that this is not always the case.
It encourages brides-to-be not to fall in love with a frock they can't afford as there are a "huge selection of gowns that are affordable and beautiful".
One option could be to get a custom-made dress from an internet auction site.
Shelly Stuart, 26, told the news provider: "A friend of mine got her dress from a Chinese dressmaker on eBay. It was custom-made to her measurements and was all of $200 (£123), including shipping."
Wedding dress designer Melinda Looi recently told the Star that it is important to have a range of gowns so that their will be something to suit every bride.
