It is likely that many couples will have friends and family travelling up and down the country in a bid to attend the nuptials of their loved ones.
To thank them for this and give them a warm welcome when they arrive on a wintery day then what could be better than offering a small gift bag?
Offering some advice on the subject, Carley Roney, co-founder and editor in chief of the Knot, tells the Seattle Times that a small gift such as this could be the perfect winter warmer for guests.
She suggests filling it with bottled water, a snack and a tube of mini toothpaste.
Ms Roney adds that as temperatures begin to drop, "keep your guests warm with mittens or a cosy blanket" so they feel at home and like the journey they have made is appreciated.
In other winter wedding news, Hello magazine recently suggested that headdresses and fascinators will be huge trend over the next few months.
