Bikers 'rev up' for the perfect wedding

Bikers 'rev up' for the perfect wedding Two motorcycle fans have tied the knot in a ceremony that took place two years to the day after they met at a biker's rally.

Karen Bottomley, 43, and Richard Bacon, 48, first met at the White Lion in Mytholmroyd before getting together at a motorcycling event, the Halifax Courier reports.

Now, the pair, who are both from Luddenden Foot, have exchanged their vows at St Mary's Church surrounded by family and friends, who were appropriately dressed in biker's leathers.

Mr Bacon, who is also known as Rasher, said: "I've been interested in motorbikes since I was 15 and Karen is the same so it was always going to be a biker wedding."

The couple have two motorbikes and enthusiasts from as far away as Newcastle and Wales turned up for the big day.

In other quirky wedding news, an overjoyed bride paid just £51 for her big day after winning a reception package at Buckatree Hall near Telford, Shropshire, in an auction.ADNFCR-2066-ID-19383845-ADNFCR
