Bride invites baby goats to her wedding day

Bride invites baby goats to her wedding day One bride decided to break with tradition on her wedding day and introduce a few quirky changes to her nuptials at the weekend.

Gillian Stone wed Robert Schifreen on Saturday and had two baby goats instead of bouquets for her young bridesmaids to lead down the aisle.

The day started off at Freezeland Farm, Ninfield, before the ceremony, complete with its animal extras, took place at the Manor Barn.

In addition to the goats, the groom also donned a pirate's outfit for the occasion and the wedding party made its way to the venue in a red London double decker bus.

Mr Schifreen said his choice of attire came from his hatred of formal suits.

"The good thing about wearing this is that I can take it off later. I am wearing shorts and a T-shirt and I can't think of anything better to get married in than that," he added.

In other quirky wedding news, a pair of Elvis Presley fans recently said their vows in South Wales in a wedding ceremony themed around the singer.
