Wedding planner discusses real-life Bridezillas

Wedding planner discusses real-life Bridezillas The release of new film Bride Wars sees its stars, Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway, turn into Bridezillas as they fight for the perfect big day.

However, one wedding planner has revealed to the Ledger-Enquirer, that in real life, brides are usually far better behaved.

Lynda Johnson, wedding and event consultant for The Garrett-Bullock House, says that having the help of a professional can often help take the stress off of the bride or groom.

She has found that the most common concern for couples is making sure everything is on budget, followed by ensuring that everyone enjoys themselves.

To avoid a beautiful bride turning into a Bridezilla, Ms Johnson has some good methods in place.

"We really get to know people one-on-one. We work with their nerves and fears. We talk to them and get them to calm down," she added.

Brides could find that they save some money with a trip to BHS before their big day, as the shop is selling a wedding gown for the purse-friendly price of £100.
