A wedding show is being held for brides and grooms who want to enjoy their big day without polluting the planet.

The Eco Chic Wedding and Home Show will be held at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens on Sunday March 8th for anyone who wants to celebrate the environmentally friendly way.

Everything couples need, including dresses, accessories, flowers, gifts, cakes and even honeymoon destinations will be represented at the show.

Katie Haines, who co-founded the event, spoke to Hippyshopper and said that although the ethical wedding industry is growing, until now it was underrepresented.

"There is definitely a growing trend with brides wanting their wedding to be more of a low-impact affair. Both financially and on the environment," she added, claiming that both can be achieved with an eco wedding.
